Thallus off-white, thin, smooth, dull. Ascomata black, numerous, conspicuous, straight or curved, simple, sessile, lacking a thalline margin, 0.5–2.0 (–5.0) mm long, c. 0.2 mm wide; lips closed. Proper exciple completely carbonised. Hymenium 100–150 µm thick, not inspersed. Ascospores 8 per ascus, biseriate, transversely 8–10 (–11)-locular, (30–) 35–40 × 8–9 µm, I+ blue. CHEMISTRY: Norstictic acid. |

Corticolous in south-eastern Qld and north-eastern N.S.W.; also in Costa Rica. | ||
